Private Album Release Party E-40

As a Backpack CEO, I get the wonderful opportunity of traveling the world, going to private events, amazing parties, and the list goes on. On Tuesday May 1st, 2012 I was invited to E-40′s Album release party.

Had a Good time at the Private Album release party for E-40. It was held at Club Tru in Hollywood http://truhollywood.com/

Many of Legends were definitely in the building. Some of the names in attendance were: V Nasty, Ray J, DJ Big Von, 40 Glocc, Bobby Brackins, Porsche Coleman, Droop-E, Warren G, Clyde Carson, DJ Amen, Too Short, Dollphace, DJ Whoo Kid, Kenny Kingpin, Comedian, Alex Thomas, Xzibit, Problem, Bad Girls Club, Camilla Poindexter.

That is just to name a few. The DJ was on point, and did an amazing job with keeping everyone moving. E-40 did his thing, performed some of the songs off his new album including (Function). I have Included some pics of some of the people who made it.

Overall I think E-40 is still doing a good job at getting his music out there. People could not get enough of the songs that the DJ was playing, and my crew and I had a great time. One of my Good friends/Client Nicolas Mayfield CEO of Soulful Commandoe was responsible for E-40′s clothing. He created some nice pieces for E-40, and everyone was impressed! Be on the look out for Soulful Commandoe!

Purchased the New Ipad (Ipad3)

Ok, So here is my new business tool. Since I am a BackpackCEO, it is very important to have a good mobile device. My method that I have been using while traveling has always been to find a wireless spot, then connect my laptop so then I could start working. With the Ipad 4G I figure it would work out, and it allows me to always have a internet connection.

So far so good. I have not had any problems at all. Everything seems to be working very smooth, but we will see after I start installing all of my apps. Right now I have Quick Adsense which allows me to check my Google Adsense accont (We will talk about this later), I have Quicklytics which allows me to monitor all the traffic on the websites that I have setup, including my clients sites. iAnnotate PDF which allows me to open and edit PDF files, I like it because note taking is easy, and highlighting works out good also.

I purchased the IHOME Bluetook Keyboard case. Im not a big fan of the case, in fact I am going to take it back, because I just order another case, I will review it once it comes in.

The Camera take awesome pictures, and the quality of pictures and txt looks cery good, One thing that bugs me about the IPAD is holding and typing. It just continues to easily slip out of my hand, so I am looking for some solutions, We shall see. Anyway this should prove to be a good ad on to my business tools.

Albachiara Hotel – Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

So out in Dominican Republic, I had a great time at a small town called Las Terrenas. Beautiful Beaches, great food, and a wonderful place to stay. While being out in Las Terrenas my goal was to find something right across from the beach, and close to the food spots. The place that I end out staying at was a great place by the name of Albachiara Hotel. It had most of the things I was looking for in a Hotel, and the hotel cleaning was great.

The suite that I had was equipped with 2 rooms, had a Large walk out Balcony which overlooked not only the pool, but the Ocean also. Although there was no food offered, there was many places around the Hotel within walking distance, so finding amazing food was never a issue. In certain areas, you will be attached by mosquito’s, however I really did not have that problem here. The balcony hada nice shutter which kept all the bugs away.

With the Location being so close to the beach, and such great food, I would highly recommended this place to relax, and have a good time in the water.

La Terrasse Restaurant

That is a picture of my Mom and Dad after having a delicious meal. La Terrasse gets and A+ for the ambiance and location. It is located right of the water , so you can catch some amazing views and sunsets. See the picture below.

The food was delicious. We had some amazing seafood. All the food was prepared fresh, and the Chef went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. The food we had in Dominican Republic was good, but I highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a spot where you can go, relax, have a great view and food, then this is your spot!
